Collection: Gabriele Cordero

Priocca, Piemonte

The protagonists involved were always going to make this a remarkable project; we were unaware of any history when we tasted the wines and just saw a brother and sister working together to make a standout Nebbiolo, exceptional Arneis and very individual Barbera.

Gabriele is helped by his sister Serena, who in turn works for her father Gianfranco, who happens to be one of the most influential wine consultants in the Langhe. The farmhouse was Gabriele and Serena’s Grandparents home; and it has been rebuilt to house a cellar for Azienda Agricola Gabriele Cordero, that has excess capacity to contract-make wines.

So, this is a small, family run business that is built on a wealth of experience gleaned in other cellars and vineyards all around the globe.

The 8 hectares of vineyard are mostly around Priocca. Behind every wine there is an obsessive attention to detail and the desire to preserve the natural beauty of the fruit.
